CONTRACT INFORMATION - Step 1 of 8

AIR COOLED GENERATOR

Adirondack Generators, LLC provides the most comprehensive Generator Preventative Maintenance Agreement available.  Our maintenance agreements meet the requirements and recommendations of all major generator manufacturers and industry leaders.  We offer different levels of plans with different yearly options.  All levels offer you the peace of mind that your generator is properly maintained and ready for you in your time of need.

This maintenance agreement includes all labor charges for routine maintenance associated with complete system inspections and adjustments, oil changes and transfer tests unless otherwise specified by the plan level. All material costs associated with maintenance are included. This maintenance agreement includes all costs associated with proper disposal of all used oils, lubricants, coolants and filters.

All labor and material charges for services other than routine maintenance, such as a required repair, are NOT included in this maintenance agreement. With customer authorization, these costs are invoiced on a time and material basis, less any plan discounts, and to be paid in full upon job completion unless otherwise specified in the standard service terms and conditions.

Manufacturer Warranty coverage only provides reimbursement for labor costs during regular business hours. Any and all after hours and emergency labor costs are the customer’s responsibility.

* If a Cellular Remote Monitoring system from Power Telematics is required, additional fees apply (if no internet is available at the generator).
* 7% off all non-warranty parts
* $50.00 of 2 Emergency Service Calls

* Active Remote Monitoring of Generator using Manufacture Onboard system (if available) and Power telematics cell based monitor for extra protection. If a “Fault” alert is received, Adirondack Generators, LLC will automatically respond for a service call within 24 hours.
* All service calls (including emergency) are included, up to 6 a year (does not include any parts not covered under warranty)
* 10% off all non-warranty parts

RENEWAL

This Generator Preventative Maintenance Agreement will automatically renew on a yearly basis unless either party cancels with a 30-day written notice. The renewal will be at the current agreement price.

Transferrable

Subject to the written approval of the Adirondack Generators this agreement may be transferred and assigned by the “Customer” to any person purchasing or leasing their property and intending to continue the operation of the generator which is being served under this Agreement. Adirondack Generators will grant such approval upon being reasonably satisfied that the assignee will fulfill the terms of this Agreement and if, Adirondack Generators receives satisfactory guarantee for the payment of this Agreement by the assignee.

SCHEDULING

Preventative Maintenance Scheduling

Annual Maintenance will be automatically scheduled by Adirondack Generators based on manufacturer requirements unless the customer requests a call prior to scheduling.

*** IMPORTANT ***

You don’t need to be home for us to complete your Preventative Maintenance. However, to guarantee full system functionality, a power outage simulation must be performed, which requires access to your transfer switch. You can choose to either provide access to the switch, decline the test, or be present during the service.

Scheduling *

Payment Failure

If payment fails to go through, for any reason, you have 30 days to rectify the payment by supplying Adirondack Generators with another form of payment and/or permission to rerun the provided payment information.  If no payment or attempt at a payment is made this contract will be considered null and void and all monies paid to Adirondack Generators will become property of Adirondack Generators.

General Appearance

Inspect for visual damage and/or unusual wear and tear
Inspect all visible plumbing and electrical connections
Clean debris from generator and wipe down enclosure
All switches/breakers in normal operating position

Engine Exhaust System

Inspect flexible exhaust coupling
Inspect critical silencer
Drain water in exhaust moisture traps

Lube Oil System

Check engine oil level
Change engine oil and filters
Inspect engine seals for leaks
Tighten hose clamps as necessary

Main Alternator & Electrical

Check voltage output, rotor, stator, regulator
Inspect brushes and slip rings if visible
Inspect insulation on generator leads
Tighten connections as needed

Engine Air Filter System

Inspect engine air filter
Inspect air cleaner seal
Inspect air cleaner elements
Inspect crankcase vent/breather

Cooling System

Inspect all belts and adjust as needed
Inspect all hoses and hose clamps, tighten as needed
Inspect radiator core for blockage or damage
Inspect radiator cap and seal
Check coolant level
Test antifreeze for proper DCA level
Inspect block heater
Lube fan pulley as needed
Inspect fan louvers for proper operation

Engine Starting System

Load test battery
Clean battery terminals/posts, tighten cables as needed
Replenish battery fluid levels
Inspect battery charger
Inspect battery heater

Transfer Switch

Ensure connections are tight
Ensure relays are tight
Check main contacts
Test transfer (where permitted)

Engine Ignition System

Inspect spark plugs
Inspect spark plug wires and distributor cap

Generator Operation

Check for oil, coolant and exhaust leaks
Inspect battery charging system
Inspect turbocharger
Inspect engine governor
Check oil engine gauges and LEDs
Check for abnormal vibration and/or noise
Adjust voltage and frequency as needed
Test all engine safety shutdowns
